"At the Hands of God"

I am not a church goer, honestly I have not been to church in a long time, since 2015 to be precise. But I have always believed in the  Power of a Morning Prayer, before fixing my bed.

In the mornings before I get out of bed, when I remember to, I say a small prayer, sometimes they are long and sometimes they are short prayers, either way, I HAVE THE MOST BLESSED DAY. The very little things that may appear to be LUCK to you are the result of a Morning Pray.

I would like to share a testimony of my own, In the year 2005, I completed my year 10 in East New Britain, My mother had divorced my father and she moved back to her village, and I stayed with her to do my year 8 to Year 10, while my other siblings were with my father in POM. Since I moved in with my mother, she thought me a valuable lesson in life that I forever carry, and that was to always pray before I make my bed. So many good things was happening, and the more I prayed, the more I changed, the more good in me was brought out. It was always a good feeling, as I became a better person that me.

After completing my year 10, I asked my guidance officer to help find a part time job in Town, with the shops. Mom was struggling and I did not want her to stress over completing my school fees before graduation day, so that I could be presented with my certificate. We had about K250.00 to go and I wanted to have completed that. My pay check in a fortnight was K60.00, so as soon as I received it, I would go back to my mum and give it to her, she would take out her savings from selling cookies in two weeks and we would count it together, and she would give me back K100.00 and say, "Go pay off some of your school fees, the rest would go to buying the basic food we needed. Although it was not enough, God was always there to provide.

After two consecutive payments of hundred kina's, I had an outstanding of sixty kina. The morning of receiving my third pay check, mum told me to go straight to the school to pay off the last of my fees, and I did. Here's the interesting part... I couldn't wait to get to the school bursar, I walked in through the school gate, through the assembly grounds, with this enormous indescribable happiness, I was going to complete my fees. I will be receiving my certificate on my graduation day. When the School Bursar finally called me in he went on his computer to search my files and turned the screen to show me my outstanding, and as I handed him the envelope he said, "No your fees were paid twenty minutes ago," stunned I looked at him and told him, "My mum and I are the only ones that will be paying my school fees, no one else?!" looking at the computer screen to confirm that he was right. The figure was on 0.00. I looked at him again in disbelief, he sighed and said, "It was a man, he came in and asked to see your record and paid it off, I did not get his name, but he seemed like a really nice man, you might've passed him at the assembly area." He smiled and I smiled back before I left the office. I was confused but thankful. I walked back to the assembly ground and I sat down on one of the benches, tears ran down my eyes and I said "God... Thank you, I don't know how You did this, but I know its YOU. This morning Mama and I prayed before we made our beds, I know that she asked you to help us through this time of need as, I needed the extra money to pay for my graduation clothes. Lord I hope it was not too much?? Thank YOU Lord!!"

When I got home that afternoon with my pay check, I told her what had happened and She calmly said, "Let us pray and Thank the Lord"

I hope you and I can learn more of this experience and other peoples experience as well. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF A MORNING PRAYER.

Thank you for sparing some time to read my blog.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
